Thanks for responding to our in-office survey given this year! We strive to make the patient experience here at Oberlin Road Pediatrics better and have improved our walk-in wait times. Our initial survey asked about patient experience from 2015. Results demonstrated 31.5% of patients complained of long wait times with our walk-in clinic. We surveyed again in September 2016 and saw a reduction to 16.6% of comments regarding long wait times with walk-in clinic. Thanks for the feedback and support of our office!

Our Mission
The misson of Oberlin Road pediatrics is to improve and sustain the health and general well being of our community's children by providing skilled, compassionate and timely health care. We care for each child as the individual they are, and in our corporate decisions, we are committed to do what is in the best interest of each child and their families and allow this principle to guide the business direction of our practice.

Oberlin Road Pediatrics will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th.

The Addition of Medical Scribes to Oberlin Road Pediatrics

Oberlin Road Pediatrics is very happy to announce the addition of scribes
to our medical team.  If you have an appointment scheduled with Drs.
Bodenstine, Burleson or Wasserman, you may see a scribe in the room
with them.  Scribes help document the medical office visit so the physician
can spend more time engaged with the patient and family rather than focusing
time looking at the computer screen.

The scribes are specially trained people with an interest in the medical field who
help the doctor document the office visit as accurately and completely as possible.
They are typically students who are interested in pursuing careers as physicians,
physician assistants, or nurses.  The scribes are fully trained in HIPPA (patient
privacy laws).  During sensitive parts of the physical exam, the scribe will either
turn around for younger patients or exit the room for tweens and teens.  Of course,
the patient and family always have the option of asking the scribe not to be a part
of the office visit.

We are excited to add this component to our practice as we strive to continue
providing the best in pediatric healthcare.

it located at the end of the sidewalk.  Please feel free to take a book or
donate a book.  Just make sure all donations are appropriate for children.

At this time, The Physicians of Oberlin Road Pediatrics have
decided not to accept babies who are born at Babies and
Company.  This is due to differences in our philosophies to
the approach of care of the newborn.

April, May, June, July, August, and September 2017 schedules are now open for well child care appointments.  Please call the office to make your Well Child Care Appointments as soon as possible.  You will have a better choice of days and time to fit your schedule.   These appointments go quickly (especially in the summer).  We are scheduling about 3 to 6 months out in time.  Thank you

Please make sure you keep us updated with your best contact phone number.  We use these numbers for our automated text (if its a mobile #) and our telephone reminder calls.  Many of our patients' main contact numbers are "landlines" and are disconnected or their voicemails to these lines are not listened to.  So please keep us updated and sign up for our convenient TEXT notification.  Thank you.
